Soul Catcher Book Review and Giveaway

Dane Michaels has been to Hell and back and isn't interested in repeating the experience. But as a human caught up in the Soulkeeper's world, his life isn't exactly his own. No one can explain why Dane was allowed through the gates of Eden, but it's changed everything. Now, the only one who can make him feel safe is Ethan, the telekinetic Soulkeeper with a dark past and a heart of gold.

When Malini asks Dane to be part of a mission to find the last Soulkeeper, Cheveyo, more than one team member thinks she's tempting Fate. But Malini suspects Fate has had a hand in Dane's life for some time and that he could be the key to unraveling Lucifer's latest plan of attack.

My Review
I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.  This is book 4 of The Soulkeepers Series.  Staying true to the theme this series has been on, this book focused on only a few characters.  In this portion, the Soulkeepers are in Eden training and trying to figure out what Lucifer will do next.  Malini feels that Dane plays an important part in the search for the new Soulkeeper that is missing.

This was a great read, one that was very difficult to put down. It had quite a few twists along the way, to keep you engrossed.  But, I’m giving it only 4 stars though.  Only because the development of Dane’s relationship seemed to move slow.  You could see the attraction from the previous novel, so why wait until the end on this one?  All in all, a great YA fantasy.  If you’re uncomfortable with homosexuality, or don’t want your kids reading it, then this may not be for you.

  1. what made you choose paranormal to write about?? I'm only a reader and it fascinates me that an author can write paranormal stories because it really requires a creative mind.

    1. I love the paranormal genre because there are no limits to what can happen in a story. My thoughts naturally gravitate to the fantastical, so the story comes naturally to me.
