My Review
I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.  Daphne Foster is a high school substitute teacher.  She’s sweet, innocent and just starting out in life.  Her very first parent teacher meeting turns her extremely anxious and nervous.  It only gets worse when her expected parent turns out not to be Michael’s mother, but his drop dead gorgeous father, Charlie Cross.   The attraction for both of them is instant.  Unfortunately, his family’s organized crime, current marriage, and frequent disappearances are exceedingly disturbing.

A charity fundraiser brings Heathcliff Vanderpool into the picture.  Their connection is amazing.  Their souls are linked but breaking up with Charlie is nearly impossible, he’ll stop at nothing to have her.  How far will he go?

This was an amazing novel that threw me for a loop.  I’d never read anything from Ms. Serrano before, so I didn’t know what to expect.  This was an action packed thrill ride, with lots of twists to keep you completely engrossed.  It was one of the best vampire and werewolf novels I have read in a very long time.  Daphne is a main character that is so easy to love.  This was a fantastic book that you can easily get lost in, I love it!  If you haven’t read anything by Judy Serrano, I strongly suggest you give her a try!
