My Review

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.  This is book 4 of The Dragon Saga Series.  In this portion we’re 18 dragon years into the future.  Danielle, the first ever female dragon is about to come of age, as is Ethan, her best friend and son of the Ociena Dragon Lord.  Even though the war has ended, Dani and Tyson are still forced into their arranged marriage.  Unfortunately, Dani has eyes for Ethan, and Tyson has eyes for Maya!  Maya happens to be Navi and Chris’ ill daughter.

This was a great book and you get the impression that this was going to be all romance until halfway through.  Forgotten characters come into play for a shocking twist.  The characters were once again amazing, and I loved Danielle’s bravery, she had amazing strength.  I was pretty surprised by Darien’s reaction through portions of the book; I’m hoping his issues get resolved in the next one.  Even though I’m not a huge romance novel fan, I was immediately drawn into this book.  Primarily because I knew what the young dragons desired was forbidden because of the arrangement made before they were even born.  So far this series is awesome and definitely needs to be on everyone’s list!

My Review

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.  Gala Rhyce moves to a new town.  Not only is she so far south that it doesn’t snow, but she’s miles away from her friends.  Then she “meets” the very unique Trista.  My first instinct would have been to stay away from the ghostly teen and stay far away from that creepy house.  I liked this ghost story; it was horror without completely creeping me out.  I thought the character development was a wee bit fast, at least where Gala and Trista are concerned.  Ghost or not, I’m not going to be your best friend in two or three days.  Part of me was disappointed with Gala, as she allowed a ghost to guilt her into doing things.  Most of the ghostly antics are just downright hilarious.  I also thought the Flagler Beach community was pretty realistic of a small town.  The people were a little quirky yet friendly and kept thinking to myself “I like to live there!”  How does Gala deal with her new life, and friends, even the dead one? you’ll have to read the book and find out. This was such a fun novel; I hope there will be many more adventures for Gala.

"I am seriously impressed with how the author took the simplistic Amish life and combined it with a futuristic, almost dystopian story line as seamlessly as she did. I highly recommend it." Crafty Cauldron

"I am also a sucker for Amish stories, and love the idea of the new paranormal/supernatural/dystopian twists using them. This book is electric. You are pulled into Lydia's story and keep on reading, trying to find out what happens next.I tried to figure out what I would do if I were in her situation. I am impressed by the strength she is able to find within herself." Andi's Young Adult blog
"I never know what to think when I start reading a book by a new author. But this one was electrifying!!! his book had me on the edge of my seat all the way to the last page. " Taking Time for Mommy
"It begins with the perfect bang, and lights up your mind in ways you may not have thought. As much as it is dystopian it is speculative, and I am all for challenging the minds of the human race." Literary Sweet
"The characters were so well written that I felt like I knew them. Lydia stayed true to who she was and her personality even when she had to make decisions that were not at all what an Amish would have ever imagine anyone would have to make." Delphina Reads too Much

My Review
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.  This is a great 28 day devotional to keep you focused on your path until you reach your destination.  Each day you receive a quote by Rev. Reid to reflect on which are connected to a portion of scripture, then there are six questions for you to journal your thought on as you reflect on the quote and possibly create your own.  I thoroughly enjoyed this, as I am always looking for a good devotional to start my day focused on our great creator.

About the Author

Apostle Oliver T. Reid, called into the ministry in his youth, is a powerfully anointed and dynamic man of God.  Known to be a remnant preacher and a testament to these times, Apostle Reid flows with a global prophetic mandate with God’s signs and wonders following.  A man of many gifts and talents, he walks in the office of Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist and Teacher, and most affectionately knows him as “Apostle.”  As a trailblazer, stalwart, and international apostle Reid has a passion to see the body restored, sinner’s saved, and broken hearts mended.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Apostle Reid is happily married to Miatta Reid and a proud father. He is a graduate of Winston Salem State University with a BA/BS degree in History and Sociology. Apostle Reid obtained a Bachelors as well as a Master’s Degree in Theology from Life Christian University. He is presently in pursuit of his Doctor of Ministry in Theology degree from Life Christian University.
