When Will You Be Home Book #Review by @AuthorGVD

Synopsis:
Paige Scott believed that moving back to Philadelphia was the right move. She needed to tie up the frayed ends of her past and recreate a life for herself, independent of the support of others. She swiftly learns that this may have been a terrible mistake, as she becomes mired in past relationships.

Polly, Olivia and Lucien, best friends since college, are finding their current situations unstable and their futures uncertain as each inch toward their own difficult crossroads. Polly yearns to have a family, but is caught up with the handsome and unavailable Lucien, while also caring for a friend who is mentally unstable after enduring terrible tragedy. Olivia flees her unhappy marriage to contemplate divorce in her aunt's home in Key West, and finds herself unwinding her tightly repressed life in the arms of a younger man. Lucien hires Paige, a lost love from his past, causing Polly further distress.

As their lives entwine, all must learn that life is bittersweet, and finding your home in the world is about love, not geography...

My Review:
I received a free copy of this novel in exchange of my honest review.

When Will You Be Home is book two of The Running series.  Paige Scott has returned to Philadelphia to tie up loose ends.  But she quickly realizes that she's more alive now than when she was dumped by her ex husband in a small town, in a sad looking fixer upper. As she begins working for her ex boyfriend Lucien, she begins feeling the suffocation from her past life pressing in and questions what she really wants.  Meanwhile, Polly has a  bizarre relationship with Lucien, bringing forth a searing jealousy when Paige reappears.  Olivia, Polly's BFF, has run away from her marriage and insufferable lifestyle to the beaches of Key West.  Will these three women figure out what they want and what is important to them?

I loved the continuation! It made me feel like I was revisiting old friends. I can't wait for the next book to find out where everyone happens to end up.  This was a great read with even a few budding romances.
