    •  St. Claire's Organics Peppermints - My husband and I both tried this, we both love peppermint and this product was one of the best we've ever had
    • Aura Cacia 54 card deck Aromatherapy Deck - Smells heavenly
    • Aura Cacia Sweet Orange 100% Pure Essential Oil - This can be used in bath oil or to make your own shower gel

    • SunWarrior Warrior Blend Raw Protein Vanilla
    • Powbab Baobab Superfruit Chews - This was fantastic, the flavor was to die for
    • Tea forte green tea bags in cherry marzipan, honey yuzu, cucumber mint
    • Mighty Leaf Iced Tea in Calypso Mango
    •  Madhava natural sweetners organic agave nectar and organic coconut sugar - Both are great, the organic coconut sugar has a milder flavor so if you want a really sweet taste, it's better to use the organic agave nectar.

My Review

This is book two of the Spellbound series, this was a fantastic sequel to Bound to Remember.  Part two opens with a love pentagon, yes you read that right.  Kevin, Ben, and Hades all vying for Antonia’s affections, while Catherine appears trying to get Ben back.  Lola James did an awesome job using all of her characters in some way to help Antonia; the way the lives were woven together was just amazing.  I was left hanging at the end of book two, so I can’t wait for book three!

The Unsacred Gift Blog Tour

Have you ever had a dream that came to life? How about losing the one you love and not being able to save them? What about a gift that you were cursed with? Well image having all three like Sicily “Sissy” Monroe.

“Some might say what I have is a gift. I say, I want to return it.” Sissy declares.

Sicily “Sissy” Monroe has all the qualities of a perfect young lady. She is almost where she wants to be in life. But lying deep in the pupil of her eyes hold something that she cannot get rid of which interferes with her plans. She fights everyday with no one but herself. After having her first vision at age six of her sister’s (Misty) disappearance and the dreams of failing to save her, Sissy wants no part in another person’s fate. For years Sissy tried hard to avoid contact with people because she feared foreseeing their death. In keeping with this, she tries to stay away from her family. Little did Sissy know she could not run from her past, or her gift. She hopes someone will put her out of her misery, but she will soon discover that her visions and dreams were just a mere image of herself.

My Review

Sissy Monroe has an amazing gift that she considers a curse.  So much so, that she keeps to herself and avoids relationships with everyone, including her family, until she returns home for her grandmother’s birthday party.  There she’s reunited with Chris, the young man she had a crush on since high school.  As their relationship blossoms, she feels the need to share about her gift with him.  Will he stay with her, having this new knowledge?  Or will he think she is really losing her mind? This book was really great, with a very unexpected ending I never saw coming.  I kept reading to try to figure out what would happen next, and the ending was quite a surprise.

My Review

In book 2 of The Gwen Sparks Series, we see Gwen in Moon preparing for a war against vampires.  Her relationship with Aidan is stretched to the limit when she learns of secrets he’s hidden and the American Witches Council finds out she’s bonded to Ian Devereaux.  In the middle of all of this, in walks the handsome Dorian, Angel of Death.  This sequel was even better than book one, Gwen learns about her powers, there’s romance and even some mystery in the mix.  Although this book was remarkably shorter than what I’m used to, it was a fantastic read worthy of a five star rating!

My Review
This is book one of the Spellbound series, it was a rather quick read but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  At first I was hesitant to embrace this novel; I thought it would be just another vampire story.  But I was happily corrected of my assumption!  This is a vampire story with a twist.  What an excellent imagination Lola James has, I look forward to what book two, Unbound, has in store for us.

Blog Tour: The Book of James Review

A terrible car crash sets things in motion for 31 year old Mackenzie when her critically injured husband, Nick, whispers warnings that someone from his past may attempt to harm or kill her after his passing. He urges her to travel to Philadelphia to his childhood home. Find James, he insists. It's the only way out.

His last words are pushed to the side in the aftermath of his death, as Mackenzie is consumed with grief. Until the things he had spoken of start to come true. Mackenzie's search brings her to the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, to the 19th century mansion where her husband was raised, and face to face with a mother-in-law she didn't know existed. The two women each have an agenda. Cora, a recluse, worries that her son revealed devastating childhood secrets to his wife. Mackenzie is concerned that unless she uncovers those secrets and finds the elusive James, she may not survive. The two women circle around one another, hunter and prey. But which is which?

As the plot unfolds Mackenzie becomes more driven and takes increasingly dangerous risks while Cora’s precarious mental state rapidly deteriorates forcing her to relive a past she has worked so hard to keep buried.A gallery of photographs in the bowels of the house holds clues to generations of abuse, treachery and possibly murder. Messages hidden in Nick’s childhood Bible within the Epistle of James have Mackenzie racing against time to put the pieces together, unearth the reasons her husband chose to vanish when he was sixteen years old, and locate the person mentioned in Nick’s dying breath.

When James is finally found, the results are more horrifying than Mackenzie could have ever imagined.

This novel starts out heartbreaking as Mackenzie is faced with the tragic death of her husband and blaming herself for the accident that ended his life.  Then realizing her husband was not who she thought he was.  Her trip to his hometown unfolds a mystery with more twists and turns than she has anticipated.  The final outcome is shocking!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.  It had everything, mystery, suspense, even some romance.  I'd call it a psychological thriller.  The story flows really well, and you're drawn in from the first page.  I have to admit, I had a difficult time putting this book down.

Bitten Shame Blog Tour & Amazon GC Giveaway

Bitten Shame (Book 2 of the Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy)

Jill Prescott returned from self-imposed seclusion to help save her best friend Devan’s life. Throwing herself into Devan’s problems and bringing an evil organization to its knees might just be the distraction she needs to keep living without the only man she’s ever loved. Her life changed forever when she was hired to spend a week with Doc Massey. On the day she became a vampire her youthful innocence ended, but Doc’s love rescued her from being consumed by the darkness. The shadow of that former life continues to loom over her, keeping her from realizing her own self-worth. Running from her past only brings her closer to a destiny that is inextricably connected to what she is trying to escape… Every gift has both a reward and a price, because All of it fits…

Kindle / Paperback

About the Author - Olivia Hardin realized early on how strange she was to have complete movie-like character dreams as a child. Eventually she began putting those vivid dreams to paper and was rarely without her spiral notebooks full of those mental ramblings. Her forgotten vision of becoming an author was realized when she connected with a group of amazingly talented and fabulous writers who gave her lots of direction and encouragement. With a little extra push from family and friends, she hunkered down to get lost in the words. She's also an insatiable crafter who only completes about 1 out of 5 projects, a jogger who hates to run, and is sometimes accused of being artistic, though she's generally too much of a perfectionist to appreciate her own work. A native Texas girl, Olivia lives in the beautiful Lone Star state with her husband and their puppy Bonnie.

My Review

Firstly, I must say the book cover is exactly how my mind imagined Jill Prescott.  The story was well written and I loved the fact that the chapters toggled between the past and present so you could see where Jill was coming from and why she felt emotional turmoil.  I was also drawn in from the first page, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.  Will Jill finally get her heart’s desire? How will it all turn out?...I guess we’ll have to read book 3 to find out!
