I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

They thought they had their lives all figured out; boy were they wrong.  Nicole, Brooke and Gin are orphaned sisters.  They each have a special ability; Nicole can manipulate air, Brooke manipulates water, and Gin manipulates fire.  Wicked Wind is book one of the Solsti Prophecy series, and Nichole is the main focus of this novel.

Nichole is an attorney by day and vigilante by night.  Having trained and honed her special talent as best she could, she and her sister, Brooke, spend their evenings in the worst parts of Chicago, rescuing the innocent from drug dealers, muggers, rapists, and the like.  She gave up on having any lasting romantic relationships; how would she explain her special talent? That is, until she meets a very sexy Lash Demon named Gunnar.  Yes, even his name screams hot!  He aids her in finding out who she and her sisters really are.  Their attraction is instantly steamy, will Nichole allow herself to fall in love?  Will she be able to accept who she really is and live up to the expectations implied by the prophecy?

This was an awesome fantasy novel with lots of romance and sexy men to keep you reading.  I loved Nichole and Gunnar’s journey through the demon realm.  While there, they meet sprites, nymphs, and a variety of demons that are very aggressive and far from friendly.  The chemistry between Gunnar and Nichole is amazing, and his desire to protect her is unreal.  The story was very fast paced, with edge of your seat excitement.  I can’t wait to read book two to find out what happens next.
