A desperate mission
A grueling journey through time and space
Life had always been an exciting adventure to Heather Higgins. At the miraculous appearance of a mysterious man with piercing green eyes and a powerful intellect, Heather knows she has met her destiny. Whether he likes it or not.
In pursuit of a dangerous mission, Ammon Maharahi doesn’t have time for spoiled, doe eyed beauties. But no matter how hard he tries, he cannot dismiss her. Amidst his frantic travels through time and space in the effort to fix a dark future, his illness wears him down. He must find and stop a fellow time traveler before it is too late and all is lost. Tired, ill and disheartened, he wonders if he is fighting a losing battle when Heather Higgins is thrust into his path, infusing energy and life into his weary heart.
But time is running out. The answer lies with a gifted university professor from the future, as bizarre as she is brilliant. As Ammon and Heather race through time to unlock the puzzle, they know Ammon’s life and the future of all humankind slip closer to catastrophe with every tick of the clock.

My Review:
I received
a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
“The
Pauper” is book three of the amazing time travel series by May Nichole
Abbey. In this book we’re placed in the
year 1718. The adventure begins with
Heather rescuing a man from the ocean she’s certain she saw falling out of the
sky. Unfortunately, the gentleman is
unconscious and feverish, and Heather has placed it upon herself to nurse him
back to health. When he regains
consciousness, we learn he is Ammon Maharahi, the son of Serena (the heroine in
book two). His mission is to stop a time
traveler from the future(Rachel Madera from book one) from uncovering her
secrets when she arrives in the present timeline to prevent chaos in the
future.
I have
been anxiously anticipating this novel, I just could not wait to see what
happens next. Once again I was
completely engrossed in the story. The
way May Nichole Abbey tied the three novels together was nothing short of
brilliant! This book is a fast page
turning adventure that takes you to the days of pirates, ancient Egypt and the
future. There’s even some romance as
Ammon realizes how much Heather really means to him. Best of all is the teaser of a book
four, I can’t wait!
